What is the difference between Cloud QMS and WhatsApp QMS?
Both use the same web portal and have identical features. The only difference is how customers are notified: Cloud QMS shows queue numbers on the in-room TV display. WhatsApp QMS sends an automated WhatsApp message to the customer's phone. If your customers need to wait off-site, choose WhatsApp QMS. If they wait in the room, Cloud QMS is sufficient and more cost-effective.
Does Cloud QMS require a WhatsApp Business account?
No. Cloud QMS does not use WhatsApp at all. There is no WABA registration needed. This also means no per-message WhatsApp charges — making it lower cost per customer than WhatsApp QMS.
Can I upgrade from Cloud QMS to WhatsApp QMS later?
Yes — easily. Since both products use the same portal, upgrading just means connecting your WABA account. All your queue types, staff accounts, and historical data remain intact. No migration needed.
Do customers need a smartphone?
Customers need a smartphone to scan the QR code and join the queue via browser. However, since no WhatsApp message is sent, customers without WhatsApp can still use Cloud QMS. They just need a phone with a browser.
Does Cloud QMS work without internet?
No — Cloud QMS requires internet as it is cloud-hosted. If you need a system that works without internet, please look at our Local Web QMS (LAN-based) solution.
